Paddy- Rice holds the utmost importance in the Indian diet and is extremely popular while being in constant demand. Paddy rice is one which has its outer sheathing removed and processed. Upon the removal of its outer hull the inner grain which is used for consumption is obtained. However the hull once removed is extremely valuable as animal fodder while the rice may be sold for consumption. We have several different varieties of seeds each suitable for the varied terrains and environments of our country. These varieties include crops that are suitable for short duration planting (115-120 days) while bringing high yield and a good market price. They also thrive in conditions that include drought and saline water inputs, suitable for a duration of 125-130 days, offering a high yield and fits well into the potato, wheat crop rotation pattern is suitable for long duration planting of about 145-150 days with a high yield potential and assured quality grain. It is tolerant to lodging and fits well in wheat paddy crop rotation pattern. Grows well in medium or low lands that have provision for a good irrigation facility.
