Fodder Bajra
Fodder Bajra –the seed for growing bajra that can be used as fodder is extremely reliable and grows well. Bajra is a short duration crop and is suitable for growing in dry/ semi arid and tropical areas while being tolerant to both heat and drought. It is an easy to grow crop in a sunny abundant region like India. It is currently the fourth most important crop and is cultivated for its grain in addition to fodder. It is disease resistant and thrives when planted in light soils along with a mixture of guar or cowpea.
